New Design and Interior Features
Since it’s the first model in a new generation, we can expect significant changes to the entire vehicle.
One of the biggest changes is the added length. While the Tiguan is still a compact crossover, the longer body provides more passenger and cargo room. If you’re looking for more room in a crossover, the 2025 Tiguan is for you. It’s one of the only three-row crossover SUVs on the market!
Additional interior updates are the power-adjustable massaging seats and the gear selector on the steering column, which provides more space in the center console area than ever before. You’ll also have the option to add a ChatGPT voice assistant for extra convenience.
Performance and Efficiency
While Volkswagen is keeping powertrain information close to the vest for now, we expect the base to be a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine with a more powerful plug-in hybrid option available. This is likely to be paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive will be standard, but all-wheel drive will be available.
